Jesus replied: “ ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbour as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."
The School of Worship and Transformation (SWAT) is not aimed primarily at raising up congregational worship leaders, but rather has as its focus developing prophetic worshippers who facilitate transformation in people, communities and nations.
“He appointed twelve… that they might be with Him.” - Mk. 3:14 Our desire is to seek intimacy with the Lord above all things, and to keep our hearts focused on Jesus in all circumstances
“And we, who…contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into His likeness with ever increasing glory.” - 2 Cor.3:18 We want to partner with Holy Spirit as we walk through the process of inner transformation and freedom in every area of our lives, thus becoming like Christ and letting Holy Spirit address every area that blocks intimacy with the Lord and which does not come into agreement with worship and devotion to Christ.
“He died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again.” - 2 Cor. 5:14-15 We long to flow from a place of intimacy with Holy Spirit and to see transformation in ourselves, our communities and the nations. The natural result of this intimacy will be that we will host His presence, the supernatural will flow and our hearts will long for His will more than our own.
1.) Learning to worship in a way that: Lifts up Jesus for His own sake, with no other agenda than learning to fulfill the first commandment Partners with and proclaims truth that replaces lies in every area of our lives Changes the atmosphere of our hearts, communities and nations Pushes back any hellish spirits and/or mindsets
2.) Learning to partner with Holy Spirit in a way that: Allows access to every area of our hearts, bringing everything into the light in a safe, honoring community Actively seeks emotional healing in order to remove any blockages to intimacy that come from destiny-derailing lies and death-filled mindsets Creates a desire for Christ Himself and Christ-likeness as a primary motivation in life, and activates what Christ has deposited in us.
3.) Learning to fulfill the Great Commission by: Making disciples who will be driven by simple devotion and Christlikeness in: Their hearts Their families/communities The nations Becoming hosts for the presence of the Lord, and thus more naturally supernatural Walking unhindered in our destiny and calling, keeping Christ as our focus and joyfully acknowledging that we are part of a story that is bigger than us.
